Will I set of airport security?
Usually not. Most fine chains pass through security just like regular jewelry. TSA agents always have final say, so if you’re asked to remove jewelry for screening, you may need to snip and re-weld later.
What about MRIs or medical procedures?
Follow your provider’s instructions. Many imaging centers require removal of all metal. If needed, snip at the jump ring and we’ll re-weld it afterward.
Is permanent jewelry truly “permanent”?
Think “long-wear, low-maintenance,” not indestructible. Chains can break if heavily snagged—that’s a safety feature. Permanent Jewelry is permanent but flexible; it can always be clipped at the jump ring, and we will re-weld it
What is gold filled?
Will my sterling silver tarnish?

Gold-filled jewelry has a thick layer of real gold mechanically bonded to a base metal core (usually jewelers’ brass). In the U.S., it’s typically 5% gold by weight (marked 1/20)—far thicker and more durable than gold-plated. With normal wear, the gold layer lasts years and is great for everyday pieces.
Sterling (925) can gently tarnish with air, sweat, and chemicals. A quick polish cloth brings it back. Gold-filled and solid gold resist tarnish better.
We are willing to travel to nearby cities for events with multiple pieces. If that isn't an option, you can custom-order a piece with a clasp.
